Doutzen Kroes is a Dutch model and currently one of the Victoria's Secret Angels.Doutzen Kroes received the Lifetime Achievement Award, part of the Dutch Model Awards, in Amsterdam on May 12, 2009. The jury praised her achievements at her age. At the end of August 2008, Victoria's Secret confirmed to People magazine that Kroes was to be the newest Victoria's Secret Angel. Her first campaign as the brand's newest Angel is "Supermodel Obsession", alongside Adriana Lima. She was recently signed to be the new face for Swiss cashmere label Repeat for two years. In the Amsterdam branch of Madame Tussaud's wax museum, there is a wax figure of Kroes. Kroes appeared in the finale of Muodin huipulle, Finland's version of Project Runway.

In Holland she is not only famous as a model, but also for her support for the Frisian language which is her first language.In 2007 she was the 13th highest paid model in the world, having earned 3,8 million euro.On 28 April 2008 Madame Tussauds added a wax model of Doutzen to the exhibition. The skirt she is wearing is said to be her favourite skirt. It is designed by Roberto Cavalli.Doutzen spends most of her time living in her apartment in New York.
